Gaming for All! Toys Fair Opens Door to New Business

Following the re-opening of border on January 8, more than 1,000 exhibitors have started their showcase of the latest products and gaming ideas to both local, Mainland China and overseas visitors. Under the theme of “Play To Bond ∙ Family and Beyond”, the event features various zones, such as Brand Name Gallery, Smart-Tech Toys, and Kidult World, alongside a series of seminars on top of the keynote Hong Kong Toys Industry Conference 2023.

During the Fair, NewsBites talked to several exhibitors who have already been using our Sourcing platform and very keen to promote their signature products, one of which is Lup Shun Metal & Plastic Ware Factory Ltd that features children-friendly toy projectors, such as the iconic Solar System Projector which creates a virtual outerspace exploration at home! According to their Sales Manager Ms. Lowan Lou, the fair has more traffic, especially overseas buyers, than expected and generated a satisfactory number of business enquiries for their company.

Exhibitor Tells a Success Story

Another exhibitor that we spoke with was Panley (H.K.) Limited that sells educational toys like Story-telling and Spelling games. Their Senior Sales Managers Mr. Peter Law and Mr. Hubert Cheung believed children can also present their own stories to their parents instead of the traditional one-way communication, in which their self-expression skills can be trained up. At the same time, the game is made of eco-friendly materials which protects the environment. They both agreed the fair has positive effect on their business.

Kidults Find Their Varieties too

Toys are also a great companion for kidults, especially those featuring movie or cartoon characters. M & C Toy Centre Ltd Director Mr. Gordon Chin found it beneficial in B2B networking and promoting their tech toys and AR card game. He looked forward to meeting more overseas and Mainland China buyers in the Fair next year.
