Toys Fair Exhibitors Cast an Innovative Play Across Time

The Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair which celebrates its Golden Jubilee and kicked off this Monday (January 8), together with the concurrent Hong Kong Baby Products Fair and Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair, bring together more than 2,600 exhibitors to showcase a wide range of inspiring toys, quality baby products and creative stationery. Themed “Innovative Play: A Legend Across Time”, the Fairs provide visitors with an engaging experience through emerging toys and games over the past 5 decades.

During the Fair, NewsBites talked to several exhibitors who have already been using our Sourcing platform and very keen to promote their signature products, one of which is Team Work International Industrial Co., Limited featuring a diverse range of card games and board games. Their Managing Director Mr. William Leung said the Fair drew much traffic to their booth, and customers were very interested in their 3D board game named “Lost in the Pyramid” which sells best due to its exciting journey exploring the mysterious Egyptian deserts.

Green Toys Turn Online Enquiries Into Potential Business

Another exhibitor that we spoke with was Leconcepts Holdings Company Limited that sells mainly figurines, collectibles and the recent AR toys. According to their Director Ms. Leona Lam, their educational green toys are the company’s new launch this year to introduce ESG and sustainability to the next generation. They also sell figures of original character designs to differentiate themselves in the market.

The company has been actively utilizing the Sourcing platform, receiving many more enquiries from the Middle East and Russian buyers than previous years. A buyer from Poland also got in touch via Click2Match and will visit physically at the Fair to ask for quotation.

Ltd which sells a variety of wooden self-inking stamps said their licensed and branded cartoon products are popular throughout the decades, and has been participating in our Fairs for the last 25 years. The company’s Sales Manager Ms. Winnie Ng connected with some Mainland China and local Hong Kong buyers both during the Fair and online via Sourcing, successfully making a deal with a local buyer.
