Whereas for camping lanterns, as they need to provide 360° of floodlighting, the lumen will need to be higher, a lumen range between 200-400 is needed in order to light up a larger area.

A Headlamp is probably the most crucial camping item for every camper, it allows you to do night-time cooking, setting up tents, and moving around in the dark. In general, it needless to be too bright, around 50-100 lumens will be good enough as you will only need some basic brightness for doing close work in your tent. A light-weighted headlamp with a long-lasting battery is also preferred when you are having a camping adventure.
