The annual F&B highlight, Food Expo PRO organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), will take place from 15 to 17 August this year in Hong Kong. Focusing on B2B trade, Food Expo PRO will be open to trade buyers on the first 2 days, and to the public as well on the last day (17 August).
Asia’s Key Trade Event for F&B
Entering its second year, Food Expo PRO welcomes exhibitors from 26 countries and regions featuring 20 pavilions from Japan, Korea, ASEAN, Mexico, Poland and Mainland China. Beyond ready meals and local delicacies, the Food Science and Technology zone will present alternative and future food products, such as vegan health-preserving poached eggs, personalised 3D food products and cooking machines from local exhibitors.
Meanwhile, the Food Tech Symposium will feature two sessions covering hot topics such as the latest food packaging and refrigeration technology with applications in ready meals, and innovative scientific research and recipes. In line with the growing interest in Halal food, this year’s fair will also indicate the Halal food and beverage label to facilitate buyers’ easier sourcing.

Brewing Opportunities in Tea Business
The concurrent Hong Kong International Tea Fair, featuring 4 pavilions including Sri Lanka, Fujian, Hunan, and the first-ever Hong Kong local pavilion, allows visitors to taste diverse organic teas while exploring speciality tea wares.
Apart from networking, join the inaugural Hong Kong International Tea Culture Forum which gathers worldwide tea experts and scholars for a meaningful discussion. Other activities include the International KamCha Competition – HK Milk Tea Final (HK Region), seminars, tea tasting sessions and tea art performances.
