Plan Your Business Travel By Considering The Latest Travel Restrictions From IATA

As COVID-19 continues to spread, governments around the world are stepping up their quarantine procedures and responses towards the virus and travellers from associated hot zones – such as Hong Kong issuing travel bans to all visitors from South Korea or parts of the United States declaring states of emergency.

With so many countries continuously updating and issuing new travel procedures and restrictions, prospective travellers and event organisers can stay up to date with the latest news from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA) – the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing some 290 airlines or over 80% of total air traffic. IATA supports various aspects of aviation activity and helps formulate industry policy on critical aviation issues.

Although some remain hopeful that the virus can be controlled over the coming months, it may be prudent to keep a close eye on travel and quarantine restrictions when planning to host or attend international events in the near future.
